Sterbehilfe, Sterbebegleitung, Patientenrechte
Gesetze und rechtliche Regelungen

Aktive Sterbehilfe und Beihilfe zum Suizid sind verboten. Die Vorsorgevollmacht ist in einem Gesetz geregelt und das Vormundschaftsrechts ist reformiert worden.
Beim Parlament sind Gesetzentwürfe zur Patientenverfügung zu finden.
Der Bioethikrat hat eine Broschüre zur Sterbehilfe herausgegeben. Auch beim Zentrum für bioethische Forschung der Universität Galway sind Informationen zur Sterbehilfe zu finden.
Die Bürgerinformation informiert zu Patientenverfügung, Vorsorgevollmacht und rechtlicher Betreuung.
